NBA 2020-2021 opening week National TV schedule
With just a little over two months since the NBA last played a game, it welcomes in a new season. The NBA 2020-2021 season is set to begin on Tuesday, December 22, 2020. Your NBA 2020-2021 opening week National TV schedule is below! As always the NBA doesn’t disappoint on opening week.
Ironically the NBA gets the season to start on a week where it traditionally schedules their biggest stars together on Christmas Day. Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving make their NBA debut in Brooklyn Tuesday night for the first time. Both are welcomed back as Durant has not played since June of 2019 due to an Achilles heel rupture.
Lebron James and the Lakers look slightly remodeled and will celebrate winning the championship one last time before starting the season of defending the Larry O’Brien trophy.
