Gabe’s Faves and Fades Week 12 – NFL Fantasy Football Rankings 2020
Gabe’s Faves and Fades Week 12 – Fantasy Football Rankings 2020 returns! Welcome back for my Week 12 picks. Going forward instead of giving you upside plays, I’d like to focus on the more sure-fire hits. The analysis will be smaller as we already know what teams are trash and which teams are good. Let’s Go!
Quarterback
Deshaun Watson – XFL MVP PJ Walker shut out the lowly Lions just last week with a dazzling performance. Watson is on fire right now and I regret underestimating him vs the Patriots last week who aren’t as fearful this season. – FAVE
Matthew Stafford – This feels dirty putting him here but the Texans are just as bad defensively as the Lions are. This is going to be an offensive showdown between the two teams. Golladay being available makes this pick all the more worth it. – FAVE
Ryan Tannehill – The Colts defenses is a problem if you haven’t noticed by now. – FADE
Running Back
De’Andre Swift – We have targeted running backs against Houston all season and there is no reason to stop now. If he’s healthy lock him in. – FAVE
Dalvin Cook – Stating the obvious feels lazy but backs have feasted on the 27th ranked Panthers against the run. Thielen being on the COVID/IR list only amplifies Cook’s value. – FAVE
Aaron Jones – The 7th ranked Bears are a tough matchup for the Jones and co. His involvement in the passing game could help his floor. However, we all know the passing game belongs to DeVante Adams. Look elsewhere – FADE
Wide Receiver
Will Fuller – Welcome to primetime Mr. Fuller. He has been relatively healthy all season and looks to run roughshod all over the Lions secondary. It’s a no-brainer to pair him up with Watson although you can go no wrong using Cooks as well. – FAVE
Terry McLaurin – Target monster scary Terry is easily one of the plays on the board in a dome against the trash Cowboys. Jefferson and Thielen ate hard against these boys although their defense is starting to get to full health. – FAVE
Titans Skill Players – See Ryan Tannehill – FADE
Tight End
Mark Andrews – Just know that Travis Kelce should occupy this spot every week but that’s the obvious and a great choice. Andrews is a red-zone specialist and Lamar Jackson’s favorite target. It will be tough sledding against the Steelers but he should be their best weapon. – FAVE
D/ST
Miami Dolphins – Miami Dolphins, Miami Dolphins… Miami Dolphins Number 1!!! It’s a Florida thing. They are playing the Jets who aren’t trying. – FAVE
