Chris Bosh has reportedly come to terms with the Miami Heat, Players Union and the NBA to part ways with the Miami Heat. The 11-time All-Star has not played a game since February 26, 2016 as he was diagnosed with blood clots.
Bosh has attempted to come back in the last year however, rejected by doctors and concern from the Players Union shot down those efforts.
The deal reportedly will allow the Heat to have full salary relief from Bosh’s contract but also, the ability for Bosh to sign with any team should he be healthy enough to return. The new Collective Bargaining Agreement would allow the Heat to be freed up of owing Bosh the remainder of his contract although Bosh can still receive money under insurance reasons.
